Our customers include rural communities, traditional councils, rural enterprise and government. We work with these groups to better understand their needs, to identify their potential, and to facilitate investment and execution.

Rural People

Rural people are at the heart of the InvestRural process. They identify workable solutions, provide leadership and labour, establish farms and start small businesses. They are both our customers, taking advantage of projects and interventions, and our most important partners.

Traditional Councils

Traditional Councils

InvestRural works closely with traditional leaders and councils, empowering them to lead development and providing access to a network of potential partners. As part of this process, we help traditional councils access capacity building, corporatisation and other services.

Public & Private Sectors

Public & Private Sectors

Through InvestRural, government and the private sector gain access to rural investment opportunities, markets, and structures. This enables them to deliver investment, products and services efficiently and with the greatest possible impact.

Feature Community – Siga Village

InvestRural works closely with Siga Village (North West Province), home to the Bakwena Ba Maaka Traditional Community. We engage directly with the Traditional Council and have established an InvestRural Forum – comprised of community leaders, elders and changemakers – to help guide this process. This collaboration has resulted in the Siga Village Economic Development Plan, which lays out the development potential and opportunities in the community. Projects underway include the delivery of dry sanitation, a water resource assessment, the Community Volunteer Program, and vocational training.
